We called NH Ross on Friday night, our air conditioning stopped working. By Saturday morning 9:30 Patrick arrived and was able to repair our system. Within 1/2 hour he had our system up and cooling us off. The customer service from NH Ross and Patrick was excellent.

Patrick was incredible. He found the problem with my clogged condensation drain pipe. He explained the problem to me in an easily explained way and was courteous and knowledgeable. I am extremely grateful for his help.

John was excellent! He addressed the problem, provided an estimate, fixed the problem with minimal mess, and was done in about an hour! He was courteous and very friendly! John told me Ross does electric and HVAC, too! I’ll definitely use Ross in the future!

Everyone we have worked with there has been exceptional from day one. We have built a personal rapport with some of the staff as well as some of the technicians who have frequented our home and we can say with certainty that they truly care about their customers. Staff members like Joan, Jill, Gail, Joe, Brian, and a few more whose names I know I’m missing (my deepest apologies for that - I will add them in at a later date), all make you feel welcomed, and supported with every phone call. As for our experiences with the technicians and the results they have achieved in our home, we can confidently say that their expertise & professionalism are top notch! Based on our personal experiences, we can say that in particular, Jayson C. & Paul P. (electricians) are both outstanding and experts that are highly skilled at their trade as I’m sure many others that we haven’t met within the company yet are as well. A brand-new tankless water-heater installed a few days ago by NH Ross was not working properly. Owner Mr. Ross and customer rep (Jill) were very cooperative and communicative in responding to my emergency calls (on a Saturday) and sending Jack (technician) out to diagnose and, if possible, fix the problem. (No hot water). Jack was very friendly, professional and extremely helpful with answering questions and explaining things. He was very thorough in diagnosing the problem. I was able to take a long hot shower. Thank you. Just had AC tune-up w/ Daniel. Excellent communication and explanations of system. Very professional and courteous. Thank you.

NH Ross has been nothing but spectacular. They respond to our calls very quickly and get technicians out as soon as possible. We have had Patrick and Jose come to evaluate our system, and then Brian L and Eli just did an install this week. They were all knowledgeable and provided options with clear explanations. At no time did we feel pressured or unheard. The work was done quickly and respectfully. Another issue arose (unrelated to the AC) and again they were quick to respond and get someone out. Tye has been working on that, and is yet again another terrific employee. We truly appreciate this company and the lengths it goes to make its customers feel comfortable and confident.

They fell in line with what i was looking for and proceeded with the project. 2 Days later Pete and Paul came ran all necessary wiring and got everything operational. Jayson and Jorge went above and beyond to replace our broken 53 year old furnace, and broken 25 year central air conditioning. The positions of the AC unit was very difficult to reach, (behind the kitchen counters), and the unit was difficult to remove. I live in a condominium built in 1972, so the design of the architecture was not optimal for replacing said units. Jayson and Jorge spent almost 12 hours, making the replacement as easy as possible for us. They worked endlessly to make sure our heating and air conditioning was up and running, and better than ever. I will absolutely recommend NH Ross to anyone who needs HVAC work.

My experience with NH Ross so far in the past week has been great. On 6/18 They sent Eli to my house for an AC tune up and he caught something that another Long Island company did not the last time they were here. Essentially I was having issues with my Air handler that were unknown because they didn’t do a complete check. Eli caught it, gave me options, and the best in my opinion was to get a new system considering mine was at the point where it could last or just keep having issues. So he brought over an equipment specialist, went over my options and settled on a SEER 16 Anchor system. Eli was now back on weds 6/25 to install that system and it went incredibly smooth with no hang ups and looks great. He thought it would be a 9 hour day but him and his partner Bryan got in 6 and were leaving by about 1:30PM. Eli was a gentleman, a pleasure to deal with, and informed me about everything he was doing, how it works and why I needed X and Y. Overall I am extremely satisfied in my experience with NH Ross so far.

My kids, of course, thought he was the most exciting thing to happen all week and basically turned the whole repair into “Bring Your Plumber to Work Day.” On top of being super friendly and patient (with both appliances and toddlers), he charged a very fair price. Honestly, if all home repairs went this smoothly, I’d almost start breaking things on purpose. Almost. 10/10 would call again (but hopefully my fridge behaves for a while)

Peter came to fix our smart thermostat system after we had gotten a new boiler system. Very friendly. Very knowledgeable. Very willing to help. Got the job done in a timely fashion! RECOMMEND!

Paul did an outstanding job of checking my home electrical system and explaining what he determined needed to be bought up to code and why. When I have the work done I would like him to do it. I have the utmost confidence he would do a superb job.

John was spectacular. And I don't use the word lightly. Diagnosed the issue expertly--and fixed it. And it took a lot of time, sweat, and elbow grease! And he did not leave before making sure I was back in business. (Also a really lovely man.) And he educated me about a lot of things in my house about which I knew nothing. I recommend him and NH Ross without reservation! (Yes, a bit expensive, but they are super-responsive when an issue arises--often able to get there the same day or certainly the next day--and as the old expression goes, you get what you pay for. I'd rather pay a little more to have these jobs done well and professionally. I am checking "overpriced" in the review because their charges may be more than other companies--and if they lowered them a little it might be a good idea--but they do an excellent job.)

Pete was our technician for the electrical inspection. He did an awesome job! Pete arrived promptly at scheduled time, was thorough in his inspection and explained everything to me and it made sense! His recommendations were spot on!

Very pleasant to deal with, very detailed and kept us informed during the course of completing our A/C installation. Would highly recommend.

Update 6/17/2025--- Today I had Dan service my system. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He was very clear with explaining the prices and system. I love the professionalism! I was extremely pleased with my install. They began work at 8 in the morning and was the office was diligent with calling ahead of time as promised. The men outlined what their with would be for the day and introduced themselves. At the end of a long work day, and extremely hot and tight work spaces in my attic, they still had the patience to answer questions with detail and went over suggestions and tips to use on my new unit. As we wrapped up, the lead technician Mike and his worker Doug, were drenched in sweat and I felt bad for keeping them any longer then needed, but they insisted that they wanted to make sure I understood everything. I had questions and they were extremely knowledgeable, professional and kind. They got to work extremely fast and left no mess or trace behind. I was beyond impressed. I'm not able to speak too much on the unit as it's new. But I can confirm that it started working great with cooling down my 2nd floor within hours. Solely based on professional and extremely knowledgeable technicians, I would recommend. If you're able to recommend a technician to work on your unit, I'd suggest Mike.

The entire project was completed within one workday. I was kept in the loop as to what would be taking place at every stage during the installation of both the furnace and the air conditioning. Everyone worked cleanly and the mess afterwards was minimal, almost non-existent. Based on one day of the new equipment, the overall temperature of the house is much better monitored than at any time since we moved in six months ago.
